Texas Hold'em är en av dom mest populära pokerspelen i världen. Skillnaden mellan between den vanliga 5-hands pokern och texas holdem är att du bara har 2 kort på handen, och 5 på bordet, som kombinerat ska utgöra den bästa 5-korts handen.
Du startar med 2 kort på handen, en stor mörk och en liten mörk är placerade efter knappen. Du placerar dina satsningar och betalar summan av den stora mörken om du väljer att spela din hand. Om inte, så behöver du bara lägga dina kort, eller höja satsningen om du anser att du har en bra hand.
Efter alla satsningar är gjorda, så kommer floppen upp på bordet, vilket innebär att 3 öppna kort delas ut av dealern som du nu kan kombinera med dina 2 kort på handen. Ännu en runda av satsningar sker, och när detta är gjort så kommer turn upp. Det innebär att det 4e öppna kortet delas ut på bordet. Ännu en runda av satsningar, och när detta är gjort så kommer det sista kortet upp på bordet, river. Ännu en runda av satsningar och vinnaren efter denna runda är den som har de bäst 5 kort kombinerade på bordet.
